“Silence that didn’t feel empty, space that felt held. I stayed four nights and came back home lighter, slower, and clearer. “

FAQ

Common

questions

What is your cancellation policy?

We give a 100% refund for cancellations made 48 hours before the tour date. If there is inclement weather or unscheduled maintenance, we will either reschedule your tour or issue a 100% refund. Keep in mind that if the tour is booked with a third party, their cancellation and refund policy may differ from ours.

What time should I arrive for my flight?

Please check in 45 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for safety briefings and check-in.

Is there a shuttle service for pick up at hotels?

Unfortunately, we do not have a shuttle service.  All guests must provide their own transportation. We recommend Charley’s Taxi, Uber, or Lyft. We ask guests to allow an extra 15 minutes of travel time due to unforeseen traffic, to arrive early or on time for their check in.

Are doors-off flights safe?

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. Every flight follows strict FAA regulations, and all passengers are secured with harnesses designed for aerial photography and comfort.

What should I wear for the tour?

We recommend closed-toe shoes, sunglasses, and a light jacket. It can get windy with the doors off, especially at higher altitudes.

Can I bring my phone or camera?

Yes — but it must be secured with a wrist or neck strap. We’ll provide you with a safety case if needed to make sure your device stays with you.

Do you fly in bad weather?

We monitor the weather closely. If conditions aren’t safe to fly, we’ll reschedule your tour or issue a full refund.

You may reschedule or cancel your tour for a full refund if done 48 hours prior to the tour date and time.  It should be noted that it does rain almost every day in Hawaii.  Most of the time it is in very small areas at a time, which does not affect our tours.  So we do not recommend cancelling or rescheduling based on a forecast of rain.

What are first class seats and open/regular class seats?

First Class seats are the 2 seats in the front with the pilot. Selecting these seats guarantees the front seats if the 2 passengers’ body weights combined do not exceed the 340 pounds weight limit. The first class seats are sold only as a pair together, whether it is for one or two people. The open class is any seat in the helicopter. Open class seating is assigned by body weights. For solo passengers, we try our best to accommodate a seat next to the open door. For couples, we seat you two together in the same row. For a party of three, we either seat 2 passengers in the front and the third passenger in the rear seat, or vice versa depending on the weights. For a party of 4 passengers, we will seat accordingly by each body weight, typically the two body weights that are the lightest combined at or under 340 pounds will be seated in the front. For any seating, you may add a request upon booking. We do not guarantee seating nor assign seating until the day of the tour.

Can children do the doors off tour?

Passengers must be 10 years or older. For safety reasons, weight limits apply — please contact our team for details before booking.
